Waves vs. Litecoin
Today’s Score 0:1
Total Score 0:1
The crypto market has been under turbulent waters ever since the FTX fraud unfolded and the scam got revealed.
And Waves is having trouble steering the turbulent waves that ensued right after!
In today’s round as the injured teams of Litecoin and Waves went up against each other, Waves suffered a disappointing defeat at the hands of it’s mature competitor who was able to withstand the tsunami of the FTX frenzy much better.
Litecoin’s MWEB upgrade - which will allow users to make confidential transactions and hide their account balances - has garnered them a lot of fan support recently.
And with renowned names like Bitcoin & Ethereum out of the tournament, fans are wishing for at least one of their favorite names to remain in the tournament!
On the other hand, although Waves has bright price estimates of trading between $22.7-$27.63 by 2028, in the past week alone the Waves token has fallen by 32.5%!
Will the crypto experts save the Waves token from elimination or will the fan support of Litecoin propel them towards victory? Stay tuned to find out!
Charles Schwab vs. Banco Bradesco
Today’s Score 0:1
Total Score 0:1
This is going to be a real thriller match this week.
The top American multinational banking team, Charles Schwab, is up against the third largest banking team of Brazil, Banco Bradesco.
However, bad news for the American team- as it lost the first round this week on Monday. Banco Bradesco managed to score the first point in this match and was thrilled!
It was clear that team Charles Schwab underperformed Monday when compared to competitors. Will the team be able to get back on its feet and not let this match go to waste for them? Only time will tell.
On the other hand, Banco Bradesco had its worst days last week since 1998, as much weaker-than-expected profits and souring loans sparked a spate of analyst downgrades. This has made the analysts cautious about predicting positive performance for the team in the near future.
Nonetheless, this week is crucial. Who’s gonna dominate? Stay tuned to find out.
Nordea Bank vs. Banco Santander
Today’s Score 1:0
Total Score 1:0
Team Nordea Bank managed to score a point against the Spanish Banco Santander and has won the first round of the first match in the knockout stage.
Nordea Bank has started off with a good performance, and thus is seen in high spirits. In recent news, the team posted third-quarter operating earnings just above market expectations on Thursday on rising interest income, slightly improving its outlook for costs and income for the full year.
The operating profit margin they’ve posted is, no doubt, a solid set of numbers. However, the Nordic region faced greater macroeconomic uncertainty, rising inflation and weaker growth in this year, especially in the third quarter. This ultimately makes their future performance still uncertain, and risky.
Can Banco Santander rise back in the next four rounds and dominate the Nordic banking team? You’ll find out soon!
