Shanghai Pudong Development Bank vs. Banco Bradesco

Today’s Score 0:1

Total Score 2:2

What an interesting turn of events!

It seemed like SPD Bank were going to have this week all to themselves in the first two rounds of the match- however, Banco Bradesco made a strong comeback at the right time and have now tied the score by 2:2.

This was very exciting to watch, wasn’t it?

Team Banco Bradesco is the third largest banking institution in Brazil, as well as the third largest in Latin America, and the seventy-ninth largest bank in the world.

Its latest press release about its third quarter earnings showed a quarter of challenges with resilient performance in the revenues. However, the reported third quarter’s earnings missed analysts' forecasts and revenue that fell short of expectations. The analysts predicted EPS of $0.125 on revenue of $5.66B. But, the bank reported EPS of $0.095 on revenue of $5.6B.

This was a little disturbing for the team, as it halted its performance in the tournament somewhat. But, we can see that the team is determined to play strongly again.

Will they be able to defeat China's SPDBank in the last round tomorrow? Stay tuned to find out!

Theta Network vs. Neo

Today’s Score 1:0

Total Score 3:1

Finally! In the crypto club, team Theta Network managed to score three points this week against team Neo. And they’re the winners now!

What a game! Some recent updates about the Theta Network have been proving to be very positive for the team.

So, what is happening? As savvy investors identify the growth potential of the metaverse, they inevitably look for projects that could see big price increases as metaverse adoption grows. One such project for them is the Theta Network!

The team Theta Network could well prove itself to be part of the critical infrastructure of the metaverse, with one important use case of Theta Network being the rendering of virtual reality (VR) worlds in real time.

Although the team has a passionate community who are likely to continue supporting the project over the long term- it is now seeing strong attention as a decentralized streaming protocol for the metaverse nonetheless.

This has been brilliant for the team in this tournament.

They’ve made it out of the round of sixteen as winners. What will be their future in this tournament? Stay tuned to find out!

Aave vs. Basic Attention Token

Today’s Score 0:1

Total Score 1:3

Another crypto team has touched the winning ceiling of three points to get past this week as winners.

Basic Attention Token finally managed to score their third round on Thursday against team Aave, dismissing it out of this tournament!

Team Basic Attention is a blockchain-based system for tracking media consumers' time and attention on websites using the Brave web browser. It’s built on Ethereum, and has the objective of improving the security, fairness, and efficiency of digital advertising through blockchain technology.

The team currently ranks as the 82nd largest crypto by cryptocurrency market capitalization. It has been around since 2017 and is a great choice for long-term investors.

The price action of BAT followed the negative trend established in the crypto markets since the emergence of the FTX issue in November’s first week. However, many experts predicted that the team may overcome the selling zone this week. And the team has proved this sentiment to be correct with its recent performance!

Alas, Aave is out and Team BAT is all ready to ascend even further!
